My First Blog Post

Starting this new semester I want to learn in this class on how to strategize and use all the media to my advantage to get ahead in the game. I also want to know the knowledge on how social media as well works best for marketing strategies and collaborate with fellow classmates. I want to collaborate with classmates to get a feel on mostly how it’s gonna be in the real field. I also want to learn how to get internships into the field that I want instead of internships from mouth to mouth.

My final thoughts

I think this was a successful semester all over all even during The circumstances that we are in right now. During the beginning if the semester it was great and it started off easy the only thing that kinda caught me off guard was the music media which i i totally understand why is there but not something as useful as i thought, you never know maybe it will come in handy.

The posting things in the blog was genius because I think blogs are very important now a days especially with in the youtube community. and then it started slowly hurling down when The virus took over and it took longer then expected for the college to respond, they shroud have already have a plan implemented just in case but it took too long and we missed a lot of our hours. The tradition to classes online was fair of course because of the pandemic. Starting there on it became weird and very unfamiliar with whats happening. sometimes i didn’t know id we had class online that day or not i always needed to check my notification because I didn’t want to miss an online class. Giving in the projects was easy and making them were difficult since in don’t have the same equipment in the Lab ( low key want a partial refund ). In the end we made the best out of a bad situation and we also managed to keep our heads instead of going mentally insane. Thank you for a Great semester!

Blog #2

In my analysis I have chosen my top 3 social media accounts that i follow on the daily and pop up in my feed the most. These media Accounts are Forever21, Danielle Emons, and Drew Scott.

All these Social Media accounts have different following and kinda the same feature for fashion and aesthetic life style. They all keep a consistent post: Forever 21 has 2-4 post per day, Danielle Emons has 2-3 post every 2 days, and Drew Scott has 1-2 post per day. the more consistent they are the more following they get and the more their followers actually stayed tune in.

Forever 21: They have it straight and simple to the point…Fashion! They keep up a good strategy using influencers post and also using people they know and are in partnership with forever 21, a few life quotes here and there won’t hurt them to fill in if they don’t have anything else to post or they ran out of designs to steal from other companies (Low key hate their business practice). What i really think is a good strong suit is dung other people pictures, they get more likes and comments then their product shots which are nice, but bland with a white back drop.

Danielle Emons: Has a lot going on for her instagram. She has an Area code, but we don’t see her exact location of you get me. what i mean is she has an aesthetic and content, but it’s messy and all over the place. I like her use of the pink theme and using the pink background with typography to announce sales and a few quirky quotes. All in all she needs to mostly have it in a since form.

Drew Scott: May not be a celebrity to you, but for me he’s my outfit inspiration and i see him almost every day. He has an amazing aesthetic and keeps up with it, all i have to mostly say id stop putting so many selfies and pics of your self, Going back through some of the post a lot of likes and comments went to these pictures. He used to put these amazing flatly that coordinate with the rest of his outfits for the week or sometimes for ads like credit card companies, or beauty products. I would love to see more flatly to balance out all the selfies.
